The concept of zero waste is the use of all the wastes produced in a society or a business by recycling or destroying it without harming the nature in any way. For this purpose, the important thing is to reduce the waste produced as much as possible.

In a zero-waste community or business, the following methods can be used to reduce as much as possible the waste produced:

1- Separation of wastes at source: Separation of wastes at the source is possible by separating the wastes into the correct categories and separating the recyclable wastes. In this way, recycling of recyclable wastes becomes easier and it is possible to eliminate wastes by using disposal methods that do not harm the nature.

2- Recycling of recyclable wastes: Recycling of recyclable wastes is possible by making these wastes reusable. For example, recycling of wastes such as glass, metal and plastic is possible by re-manufacturing these materials.
